Pair of Georgian Pewter Candlesticks, c.1800s-30s
This is a handsome Pair of Georgian Pewter Candlesticks. The sticks have circular bases which rise to a baluster stem with a single knop below cylindrical sconces.
The candlesticks were made in Britain and date to the early years of the 19th Century between around the 1800s and 1830s. As is usually the case with pewter candlesticks there is no makers' mark of any kind.
Condition is good, with just the superficial surface wear that you would expect with long years of good service. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
Each candlestick is 19.7cm / 7.75ins high and 9cm / 3.5ins across the base. The pair together weigh in at 630g / 22.2oz.
