Pair of inlaid Hepplewhite bedroom salon armchairs

These are a pair of Edwardian bedroom or side chairs. They date to around 1910 and are made in mahogany. The design of these armchairs is Hepplewhite with central circular pierced back.
Just look at the quality of these armchairs. Have you seen anything so opulent. Look at the serpentine to the front edge of the seats, look at the sweep of the arms. What sets these chairs apart though is the inlay. Both chairs have a central inlaid cartouche of floral design. The chairs are lined in bone inlay which stretches across arms legs and back. There are wonderful little details of inlaid scrolls on the arms and back.
These chairs are beautiful and would have been a small fortune in 1910. The chairs are in good vintage condition. Joints solid. No worm. Mahogany particularly vibrant. There is wear to the arms as you would expect in antique furniture and marks from use. The upholstery is probably original. Little wear but pale ring mark on seat - see photo.
These chairs will look wonderful in a well appointed bedroom or principal room as side chairs.
The chairs are is 34.5 inches high at the back and the seat is 17 inches high and the seat is 22 inches wide from outside arm to outside arm..
