Circa 1880, exhibition quality pair of leather library chairs by John Taylor & Sons Edinburgh (recently re-leathered by Roy Kerby leathers). The chairs have a roll over top, curved back and folded arms. All the facings are close studded. The chairs have turned legs at the front with brass rings and porcelain castors, and swept feet at the back which also have porcelain castors. Exceptional quality pair of chairs.
