Splendid pair of Edwardian era brass automobile lamps by the celebrated Birmingham company Lucas c.1915. Original badge to reverse carries the maker’s name, model no. 742 and the legend ‘King of the Road’ a mark Lucas reserved for their top of the range products. Originally oil lamps, they have been converted to electric at some point in the past. Very good condition retaining the original mounts, handles, chimneys and red glass to the rear.
