Sweet pair of Victorian miniature chest of drawers in solid mahogany. The thumb moulded edge sit above 2 mahogany lined drawers and hand cut dovetail joints having tiny bun handles standing on ?a plinth at its base and bun feet. These charming chests were maybe a salesman piece, a scaled down version of the stock kept for sale. Often made by the salesman's apprentice and taken to potential customers to show what was on offer in their shop or perhaps made by an apprentice to show off his skills either way these are super well made pieces and because of their size would fit almost anywhere and would be perfect as a collector’s cabinet, keep-safe or antique jewellery chest.
