Circa 1930s, pair of mahogany sectional/stacker bookcases stamped ‘Minty & Co’. The rectangular top has a moulded edge, over a shaped apron on the front and two pairs of glazed doors. On the base is a pair of cupboards, and all the doors have stylish rectangular shaped brass knob handles which have been bronzed. On the inside of the door on the top left is the trade label. The whole piece stands on bracket feet at the front and an enclosed plinth at the sides. The bookcases are attached together by a sliding mechanism beneath each of the sections and can be detached for ease of movement. Original colour and patination, very stylish and sturdy.

Size 108cm high x 89cm wide x 30cm deep.
