Fine pair of late 19th.c oak and leather desk chairs c.1890. One revolving and height adjustable, otherwise both of identical design. Curving backrest and arms in the original buttoned leather upholstery and large brass studs. Raised on a carved splat and turned spindles over a 22" diameter seat with moulded edge and padded centre freshly reupholstered in leather. Turned and block legs front and rear with carved detail and joined with H stretchers for strength. Some obvious wear to the leather on the backrests, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
