This is a good pair of antique brass single beds complete with their original decorative cast iron and sprung bases. The brass heads boards and base boards are nicely polished with a good warm glow to the brass. The brass ware is all complete and in good order with only a few minor dents here and there as would be expected with their age. The bases are most unusual, with interesting decoratve cast detail to the side rails around the beds that could still be visible with the beds made up. These are rare to find in pairs and are complete and ready for use, just requiring two standard single mattresses.
The beds measure 145 cms high at the head 110 cms high at the base 95 cms wide. They are 200 cms long.
