This pair are very unusual & could be quite useful. I don't know whether to call them bookcases or something else. They are tall, very slim & solid oak. They look to me as if they have been made out of antique oak, which was fairly distressed, so they do have a lot of character. The shelves are fixed & these items are very heavy for their size. They sit on bold bracket feet & front of the tops are also nicely shaped. They look like they were hand made. I don't know when they were constructed, because this is how I obtained them. The previous owner said he bought them at an antiques fair many years ago.
