Pair of Scottish Mahogany Sectional Bookcases
Circa 1920, pair of Scottish mahogany sectional bookcases with the maker's label of ‘B & E Strump, Glasgow’ to the top shelf. With wrap around gallery and gadrooned fore-edge to the top, and below 3 glazed doors (top 2 doors are clear glazed ad bottom door has astragal glass). The sides have fielded panels and they both stand on a stylised animal front foot, and square block feet to the back.
