These are a very good pair of tub library armchairs. The armchairs probably date to the 1950s - 1960s and are wonderful quality being made in solid mahogany and covered in thick tan leather.

The library armchairs have button backs, the top rail supported on turned mahogany spindles. The seat fronts are serpentine shaped and they sit on turned legs terminating in heavy brass casters. There is a lot of quality in these chairs.

The chairs are a pair. They are low and I would imagine they were designed as low fireside chairs. They would look wonderful in a home library or study either side of a fire place..

The chairs are in very good condition. No rips to the leather. No worm or damage to the wood work. Joints solid. One back brass caster is a replacement. The old leather shines beautifully.

Each chair is 28 inches high to the back and the seat is 13 inches high and it is 28 inches from outside arm to outside arm.
