A fine pair of Spode Stone China shaped and fluted oval dessert serving dishes printed and painted with an oriental landscape scene set around the edge of a lake. Lovely coloured enamels in lime green, teal, pink and iron red gilt highlights to the buildings and hanging garlands around the rim border and finished with ochre rims. Spode Stone China stamp and pattern number 2857 written in red enamel, c.1820-1830.

They measure 26.8cm (10 1/2") by 18.2cm (7 1/8") wide and 3.8cm (1 1/2") high.

In excellent condition with no damage or repair and very minor handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
