We are delighted to offer this large and stunning pair of Chinese Sang de Boeuf Porcelain Table Lamps, with beaded and tasselled shades by the makers of the Downton Abbey lampshades. They have also made lampshades for Mr. Selfridge, the new James Bond film and Rhianna and Adele have purchased their shades. The lamps sit on gold leafed wooden bases and were made as lamps, as opposed to converted vases. Sang de Boeuf (ox blood in English) refers to the colour of the glaze which was developed in China.

The shades are 'Saltzburg' design and are made in antique gold coloured damask, with gold fringe, overlaid with ruby beads and ruby tassels, matched with two tone ruby and gold braid. They exude an air of opulence.

The lamps have been newly rewired with synthetic silk twisted flex and have new fittings. It is recommended that they be checked by an electrician before use.

Height to base of lampholder: 23 1/4" - 59cm

Width of shade: 19" - 48.25cm

Height to top of shade: 36 1/2" - 92.75cm

Diameter of base: 7 3/4" - 19.7cm

Condition: Excellent. The shades are new.
