A charming pair of antique Victorian cast iron large single beds (3ft 6 Wide) in a gloss white finish and dating from circa 1880. The curved iron frames with inner rails forming a central diamond shape all joined by ornate castings. Comprising two headboards, two footboards and four drop-in side irons to make two complete beds. (no base, mattress or bedding included).

Measuring 107cm by 190cm, a wide single bed is the same length as a standard UK 3ft single bed, but 17cm wider, giving a slightly roomier sleep. These mattress are available from some larger mattress suppliers as well as some online mattress suppliers.

The price is for a pair of beds i.e. two identical beds – the main photo shows one of them together and the second photo shows both beds taken apart.

These beds have been recently restored in a white gloss finish. A few small chips and marks here and there but otherwise very good.
