This is a good quality pair of small Victorian mahogany bedside chests, circa 1850.

This is a good quality pair of small Victorian mahogany bedside chests, circa 1850. They each have four graduated working drawers with hand dovetailed joints, mahogany drawer linings and the original wooden knobs. Each bedsides chest boasts traditional round cornered molded edges. The backs of the bedsides feature pine back boards. Both chests are constructed of good quality solid mahogany timber finished with a superb flame mahogany finish. During this period, England was imported top quality timber from the colonies.
These chests would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hall way, living room or the bedroom. These chests would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

These bedside chests are in excellent condition and commensurate with age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. These bedsides have been adapted from a dressing table some time ago. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. The bedsides feature faux locks. The drawers are mahogany lined which is a sign of good quality. The solid mahogany gives a good colour / patination. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. The buyer is required to cover the cost of return transit – the collection cost is the same as the delivery cost. You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.

For UK buyers, we will accept cash on collection or delivery cheque, credit card, BACS (free bank to bank transfer). Payment is requested within 5 days of the sale.
