Parrot Chair rare 1970s retro mid-century modern hanging chrome chair complete with metal stand.
The Parrot Chair also known as the Arberg chair after the chairs designer Ib Arberg Of Sweden.
The parrot chair was designed by the Swedish Designer
Ib Arberg it first went on sale in 1970,This rare parrot chair was bought new in the early 1970s.
The Parrot chairs canvas hammock sling and The chairs seat cushion and arm pad cushions have all been been renewed using new inner cushion covers and new cushion fillings and the outer upholstery covers are also new the outer cushion covers done to a high standard upholstered in a lovely neutral faux suede cream fabric the canvas hammock sling has also been replaced using high quality heavy weight cream canvas all the upholstery done by a qualified upholsterer to how the chair was designed to look in the 1970s period
Retro 1970s Parrot/ arberg chairs are rare to find for sale especially so when in the outstanding perfect condition as this chair is in .
The chair is also known as a Papegojan chair though the term parrot chair is more common to find used due to the chairs use of a hanging chromed cage to form the chair seat.
