A wonderful pastoral landscape with figures and cows in a field. Signed lower right (partial hidden by later frame)
This is a wonderful picture of a 19th/early 20th century country scene with 4 figures and a child in the foreground there are 2 cows in a field which look to be traditional British shorthorns . in the middle distance 2 men are scything a meadow further still there is a farmstead with rolling landscape beyond.
Presented in a gilt frame which is in good condition, some repairs are visable. Oil on board in a good condition.
