Patrick Cock of Nottingham Longcase Clock

This Oak cased 30hour Clock by Pat Cock of Nottingham dates to the mid 18th century . Pat Clock is listed with working dates 1739-1735 .

The small brass faced dial is beautifully made and has silvered chapter ring, name plate and date ring . Patrick Cock seems to like the use of a Dutch minute band on many of his antique clocks .Steel hand are original .
The 30hour rope driven movement is of typical design and style to other clocks by this maker who seemed to take great pride in his work . He used several distinctive features that are in common with other clocks noted by him.
