This auction is for a large studio pottery charger, hand made by the Surrey potter PENNY GREEN, which can be hung on the wall from the hole provided verso (see photo) or used as a charger or platter. The design is called Indian Garden. This item was formerly part of the stock of our Gallery in Surrey, now, sadly, closed and was for sale at £125.00

Penny Green studied at Bradford College of Art, Birmingham School of Art lst Class Hons., Slade School Fine Art postgraduate studies and obtained a Diploma in Fine and Applied Art with distinction at City Lit in London. The charger has a scalloped edge and is painted in vibrant colours with a floral/fruit design.
