Designed by Peter Løvig Nielsen born.1925 and perhaps best know for designing the Boomerang desk in 1956, produced by Hedensted Mobelfabrik.
This teak display cabinet / bookcase, produced in the late 1950s /early 1960s by Løvig Dansk, Denmark, features the Løvig Dansk makers stamp on the back of the cabinet. The unit is raised on turned oak legs and comprises an open bookcase with five shelves above a full width fall-front door having two 'D' shaped brass handles, enclosing a further three bays of adjustable shelves with two slide drawers.

This unit is in excellent, original condition and was sourced with a matching bookcase which has since been sold.
