Vintage 1939 40-180 valve radio by the US company Philco. Intended as a domestic piece of antique furniture to be given pride of place in a living room, the great looking cabinet features modernist or machine age streamlining in a mahogany veneer. Missing the original back board, otherwise in excellent condition with the original bakelite knobs, decals and an illuminated dial with cranberry preset station selector buttons. In working order, retaining all seven original Philco tubes.
