Pine 2 Section Dresser Buffet %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this 2 piece German pine dresser is in good condition and stands on later bun feet and a moulded plinth.
The base section of the dresser has a single shelf to the inside and is enclosed with a pair of panel doors with later sprung catches and turned wooden knobs. The frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, run with ease and have brass handles.
The top section has a series of 3 drawers to each side which are all constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all have brasss handles. Above this there is a cupboard area with a single shelf to the inside. The 3 glazed doors have later sprung catches and turned knobs.
This is all complimented with a traditional ogee  moulded cornice.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been some insect attack to the cupboard. Although this is historical, I have sprayed the whole unit with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
This is a lovely piece of German antique furniture and would compliment the room of any home traditional or modern.
The dresser measures
base
50.75inches wide
21.5 inches deep
35.5 inches high
the top is
15 inches deep ( 13 internal) with an over all height of the whole dresser being 71.5 inches..
The cost to deliver this Buffet to England, Wales and Scotland (Glasgow to Edinburgh) is £75.00.
