Made in the early 20th Century, these lockers made from pine, we think came from a school as there are still traces of paint, various marks and ink, though mercifully no profundities and crude anatomical drawings.
Paint evidence even suggests that the original colour was a light green, as traces are in the grain to the sides( see images). As with all antique furniture of the type, wear and use is common throughout, even some abuse!
Note there are no lockable doors to the right side but the left side doors do have interior up/down sliding locks.
Wax finished and cleaned.
Height 190cm, width 95cm, depth 38cm. We welcome visits to our 3000 sq ft warehouse in Norwich (postcode NR18 9PX), but please ask first as this is by appointment only. If travelling by train , we can meet you at Norwich Station or more locally, Wymondham Station.
