Verge movement
MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock, blued screws and Boseley type regulator. Signed (R. B. Kirby, Malton) and numbered (219). Four round pillars. Good condition and running.
DIAL : Cream enamel dial in perfect condition.
INNER CASE : Silver hallmarks for Birmingham, 1859, maker's mark RC. Also stamped with the movement serial number (219). The silver is in very good condition. The hinge is fine and the bezel snaps shut. The high dome bull's eye crystal is fine.
OUTER CASE : Silver pair case with matching hallmarks to the inner.
Fine condition. The catch and hinge are fine and the bezel snaps shut correctly.
