Striking late 19th.c. portrait of a bewiskered gentleman c.1890. In oil on canvas, sensitively painted with an unusually impressionistic treatment. Unfortunately both artist and sitter are unrecorded. Presented on the original stretcher and in the original moulded and gilded frame. Painting is in excellent condition with just some minor damage to the frame.
