A beautiful oil portrait of a gorgeous lady wearing a double pearl necklace and fur stole around her shoulders,and looking very elegant indeed.
Very well executed with vibrant colours and a great study of a young lady,being titled in the bottom lower left hand corner " Alexandrine".
Great care has been taken when painting the name.
MEASUREMENTS(Including Frame)
Height 31 Inches
Width 27 Inches
Depth 3.5 Inches
CONDITION
The condition is reasonable with a few blemishes over painted in the background,but otherwise all nicely re-varnished and respectable to view commensurate with age.
Excellent face and detail to fur.
FRAME
A very elaborate gilt wooden swept frame has been more recently fittedand certainly makes the painting stand out of the crowd.
