This is a very pretty handwoven Anatolian carpet dating from around 1930. The soft woollen rug has a pleasing simple triple linked lozenge design with geometric motifs in a soft warm red, ivory and a rich indigo blue. The triple borders are particularly attractive with a range of colours used in the design. The carpet is in lovely clean condition and has complete selvedges and plaited ends.

It measures 156 cms by 106 cms and would add charm and colour on any room.
