A Primitive19th Century Polynesian Ship’s Mast Head Figure, Distressed Original Paint

This is a Large and heavy piece, the figure is of a well endowed Polynesian Girl, she is wearing a dress and arm bangles with Flowers in her hair

The Figure is carved from a hard wood and the paint is distressed and in places the grain of the wood is clearly seen. A wonderful piece of Primitive Folk Art from Oceania, there is a recessed area on the back made by some sort of bracket
The Statue is sound, very heavy with distressing, it is 65” tall, and about 16” in diameter
