Quality Antique Revolving Walnut Drum Table
A very good quality antique walnut revolving drum table on a tripod base with four drawers.
Having a circular top which has been quarter veneered in walnut with a crossbanded surround and endgrain moulded edge over a circular frieze contained four hand cut dovetailed drawers and four veneered panels. Each drawer having a herringbone crossband and brass drop handles above a shaped endgrain moulded apron.
The top being supported on a ring turned tripod base terminating on cabriole legs and pad feet.
The top comes apart from the base with a hidden pin which also allows the top to rotate 360 degrees.
In excellent condition having been restored using traditional methods this very attractive drum table has been well constructed using quality timber and veneers which have mellowed to a lovely honey colour.
