Quality Georgian Oval Pembroke Wonderful Colour
A fine quality Georgian mahogany Pembroke table of wonderful original colour. The solid mahogany figured and moulded oval top over a single bow fronted cockbeaded drawer fitted with the original brass swan neck handle, escutcheon and twin pin lock.
Raised on finely tapered legs with tapering brass box castors this Pembroke table dates to circa 1770. This table has a wonderful original colour and patina which has come up beautifully with a soft wax.
The top open to 41 3/4 inches - and 106cm.
It is rare to find Georgian antique tables in such lovely condition and colour along with signs that the handle and castors have never been taken off.
