Quality Inlaid Mahogany Sheraton revival desk
This English Edwardian Sheraton Revival Mahogany kneehole desk is lovely quality. It has a good working space but does not look heavy, an item that could look great almost anywhere.It is a rare bow fronted desk in original condition with the original cabinet antique furniture, it would we feel, be hard to find better for the price. It has neat inlays all around the top and stringing down the legs and around the drawers. The sides even have a wide inlay banding too. The leather was damaged so we have replaced it. Now with antique finish in a tooled black it does not of course conflict with any colour scheme. The locks are all in place and carry the name Hobbs and co. A company founded mid 1800s and later aquired by Chubb in the mid 1900s (further pictures will be added when leather is fitted)
We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
