This is such a high quality stool. I would imagine it was made between the 1930s and 1950s. It is made in solid walnut and I believe is Irish. Just look at the carved dolphin heads to the feet. It is beautiful. The stool stands on elegantly shaped walnut cabriole legs. The stool is upholstered in fine needlepoint.

The stool is in very good condition. The joints are solid and there is no sign of repair or worm or damage. The upholstery is clean.

This is a beautiful stool. In many ways it is just too good to hide away in a bedroom (though it would look wonderful as a dressing stool or under a dressing table.) It would also look good in an opulently decorated principal room. This is a very good piece.

The stool is 21 inches wide and 19 inches high and 17 inches deep.
