Beautiful Victorian 9ct Gold Mounted Shell Cameo Brooch with Presentation Case. The mount is solid gold. The fabulous subject cameo is hand carved from Victorian bullmouth shell. Measures 5c x 4cm. Fully hallmarked to the rim. Hallmarked Birmingham 1870.
The ornately decorated frame is engraved around the cameo shell. Overall in very good condition with no damage to the cameo shell. Still crisp and well defined.
