This is a fine quality set of three Queen Anne style burr walnut nest of antique tables, with great proportions and colour, circa 1920, in good original condition.

This is a fine quality set of three Queen Anne style burr walnut nest of tables, with great proportions and colour, circa 1920, in good original condition. The antique tables boast a serpentine design with rich burr walnut tops, veneered on solid mahogany frames, with figured walnut cross banding to the perimeter. The tops are decorated with floral carved mouldings to the edges above a chamfered and shaped frieze. The tables stand on elegant cabriole legs, with acanthus leaf carving to the knees, which terminate on fine ball and claw feet. The tables slide into each other comfortably. All in all, they display superb craftsmanship and are of superb quality.
This nest of tables displays a rich burr walnut colour. They have a beautiful deep rich patina, which has been generated by the years of cleaning and care they have received. This truly is a very beautiful item with quality construction. This item would certainly grace any home, so don't miss out your chance to own such a lovely item.
This is an extremely useful piece of antique furniture and a great asset to have in any living room, as they consume very little space.
Condition Report:
This nest of tables is in good original condition. Nominal old used marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of them. There is a small historic scratch on the top table, which is hardly noticeable. There is no missing veneer. The legs are sturdy and the tables slide comfortably into each other. They are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
