A very large and heavy glazed studio pottery bowl with geometric design by Quentin Bell. The signature marks which appear in the centre of the bowl, suggest that it was produced at Fulham Pottery in the late 70's or early 80's. Quentin Bell's 'B' mark overlaps that of Victoria Walton's VW mark, so a collaboration between the two. Victoria Walton worked as life model and pottery assistant to Quentin Bell at Fulham Pottery and became the first curator at Charleston House. The bowl is 11 inches wide and 5.5 inches high.
