"Milk Bottle" Travelling Cocktail Set / Bar c.1930
A rare find and complete, these German 1930's milk bottle shaped Cocktail sets were made by J . A. Henckels of Solingen who were well renowned for making ingenious items for the long distance traveller from the 19th century onwards.
The set comprises threevglass spirit flasks with silver-plated screw caps, a stacking set of four beakers with gilded interiors, a double cocktail jigger and lemon juicer, all of which pack into the outer casing which itself serves as a cocktail shaker, the top with integral strainer secured to the body by means of a pair of hinged clips.
Dating to c.1930, it remains in excellent condition measuring 3 1/2" in diameter x 11" tall.
