A good quality French gilded bronze mantel antique clock. A classical female figure and cherub/putti amongst foliage. Concave panels to the base with sweeping sides. An enamel dial signed 'RAFARD a PARIS'. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell with countwheel marked 'L Japay Fils'. Circa 1860.
