Extremely Rare 18th C Scottish Jacobite Rose Horn Priming Flask. Leather base with a metal (bronze or brass) Jacobite Rose symbol (poss. 1715 or 1745).
Retaining its original natural fibre fastening for the bone stopper.
Original fittings still in place.
Showing signs of age and use but no damage. Metal rose and metal fittings slightly tarnished with traces of verdigris. Listed items are usually available to view at the Red House Antiques Centre in York.
