A 1930s unused Queen Helene 'Cocktail Rouge' in excellent condition. The pink enamel lid shows a champagne glass from which bubbles are rising. At the top in stylish black script 'Queen Helene' & at the base 'COCKTAIL ROUGE'. This pristine little beauty opens to show the most gorgeous gilded interior housing an excellent mirror with a beautifully gilded bezel. The original untouched rouge with the paper cover & sweet little fabric puff. The hinge, sides & base have brilliant gilding & the hinge is marked 'MADE IN U.S.A.' The original sticker is in place on the base, reading - 'Queen Helene MEDIUM PARA LABS. INC. DISTRIBUTORS NEW YORK N.Y.' Measures 4 cm diameter. Weighs 26 grams.
