Rare Maravilla 4" compact mirror. An absolutely stunning rare 4" Maravilla compact mirror. The lid shows the head of a Greek warrior in high relief. The lid is break takingly beautiful with ornate gilt accents on flawless brown enamel. There is no enamel loss or loss of gilding either.The compact is in very good condition. The lid is flawless. The base is decorated with an engine turned design of vertical lines. The powder well is signed "MARAVILLA" & it is pristine as is the original puff. The puff is perfect & unused. Made from excellent quality pink felt with a pretty pink ribbon attached. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives a very good reflection as you will be able to see on image three. It has some age related marks. Measures 4 inches diameter. Weigh 167.9 grams.
