Rare 8" Fusee Wall Clock Russell Dulwich


A rare very small fusee dial wall antique clock. An 8" painted dial with blued steel hands and signed 'Russell Dulwich' (London). A brass bezel surround. A mahogany case of good colour. An 8-day duration timepiece fusee mechanism.
There are a few Russell of London listed in Loomes 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book. The dial is also indistinctly marked '47 Lordship Lane' and area in Dulwich. Circa 1840.
Height/Width 10 1/2 " / 26 cms Depth 5 1/2 " / 14 cms.
