Rare Antique Bentwood Swivel Desk Chair
An incredibly interesting antique swivel desk chair dating to around 1910. The chair features a large panel backrest supported by tall uprights with bentwood bracket sections above and below the circular seat panel. The chair is raised on four beautifully shaped legs leading to the original castors.
The height of the chair can be adjusted up or down, and features a mechanism that prevents the height from being adjusted when sitting and swivelling.
Very good condition, structurally all sound with just the most amazing amount of aged wear and patina.
