A scarce and attractive Doulton Lambeth Glazed Stoneware Pot by Ellen Gathercole and Emily Hawksby.

Decorated in a subtle blue glaze with very attractive raised relief decoration in white, depicting 8 dancing children. Further embossed floral design below rim and raised white bead decoration near base.

Clearly marked on base for Doulton Lambeth, 'gg' for Ellen Gathercole, 'hh' for Emily Hawksby, date 1880 and design 8930.

A very desirable collector's piece.
