Here we have a rare surviving Dutch cabinet dating from around 1690 made from Oak and purpleheart and presented on a late 18thC stand, it is enclosed by a pair of doors with raised moulded panels and projecting corners with bosses, the interior is fitted with a fine arrangement of eighteen drawers around a large arched cupboard with small drawers within, all applied with purpleheart mouldings and having large substantial carry handles to the sides.
