Rare Edward VIII 1897 pattern Infantry Officers sword in plated steel scabbard. Plated pierced hilt with Edward VIII logo. Silver wire bound shagreen grip and acid etched single edged blade. Marked as by Wilkinson and numbered on the spine 65953. In good sound condition overall but slight wear to plating and some rust staining to blade. Brass proof disc missing.

Approximately 102cm and blade length 81cm.
