A fine first period Worcester porcelain dessert dish of lozenge shape painted with the very striking Rubber Tree Plant pattern, c.1775. The reverse of this dish has a decoration that is specific to this pattern with decorative branches and pseudo Chinese marks.

Reference: Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751-1790, Branyan, French & Sandon, section I.E.47, classed as "uncommon".

It measures 9 1/8" (23cm) wide, 6 3/4" (17.3cm) deep and 1 3/4" (4.5cm) high.

Condition is excellent: is a small slither chip to the foot rim. No other damage or restoration and no discernible handling wear, a superb example.
