A very nice, rare, Gentleman's FORTIS Panavision Automatic Wristwatch.
The FORTIS watch company was founded in 1912 and has been leaders in innovation and quality. They are famous for their "Space" watches having been used in space by the US and they are exclusive suppliers to the Russian Federal Space Agency.
This watch with a stainless steel case. The rear of the case with the model number "6251" under the FORTIS name and trademark symbol. Also around the edge of the case back "All Stainless Steel", "Incabloc" and "Water resistant".
The dial signed by the maker "FORTIS Panavision Automatic" and Swiss Made". Centre seconds and a day & date aperture at 3 o'clock. The case measures 38mm x 38mm.
The watch on the original stainless steel bracelet/strap, the clasp with the FORTIS trademark symbol.
