A Rare George II walnut cased 'cottage' longcase clock by well regarded Quaker maker,John Norman of Poole(Dorset).c.1740.Brass and silvered dial with matted centre and cast decorative spandrels to the corner.Original fretted blued hand.Strikes on a bell to the hour.Small proportioned case.Lovely graining to the arched top case door.Turned pillars to the moulded cornice hood.Full working order.Stands 79"high.
