A rare and lovely example of a late Georgian antique oak Welsh dresser. This antique oak Welsh dresser is so original and complete. Originally made in the South Pembrokeshire, Haverfordwesr/St.Davids area. The fantastic colour/patina is completely original. This 18th century, antique Welsh dresser splits into two sections. The top half being the oak plate rack which features shaped sides and top. Also numerous brass hooks. The dresser base features seven oak lined and dovetailed drawers, with the original georgian antique oak handles. All the drawers run freely. The open kennel in the middle has three plate bars, for displaying platters/plates, this is most unusual and rarely seen in Welsh dressers. The antique oak Welsh dresser stands on tall stile legs. In wonderful condition. Suitable for daily use. Welsh. Circa 1780.
