RARE 18th century George 3rd Bilston enamel Bougie box in as found (damaged) condition. Turquoise background with beautifully painted floral scenes to the top and base part. Splits in the middle with ormulu mount.

As can be seen in the photos the handle is missing. Although damaged this is still a beautiful piece of early Georgian enamel of a rare design.

These wee boxes were used as a form of wax jack light.
